MISSOURI BANK CLOSES. Macon Institution in Charge of Commissioner - -Cashier Is Missing. By Associated Press. Macon, Mo., June 16.-With Cash1er Lon Hayner missing, the Citizens bank of Macon closed its doors this morning. Deputy Bank Commissioner Plank was put in charge by Commissioner Swanger. The bank has deposits of more than $150,000. As a result of the suspension the Abell Dry Goods Company's store is closed. The store is said to have been backed by the bank. Hayner is said to have been interested in a manufacturing company here. Hayner's daughter, Sue, was married at 8 o'clock yesterday morning The hour originally set for the wedding was noon, but the family moved up the time. Immediately after the ceremony Hayner left Macon and the bank officers are trying to learn his whereabouts.
