WOODBINE BANK RECEIVER STARTS MAKING PAYMENTS Woodbine, Ill, Mar. 25.β€”Attorney W. S. Eaton of Stockton, receiver for the stockholders of the former Woodbine State bank, commenced the payment of a six per cent dividend to the bank creditors at the bank building here Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. The total payment will be in the neighborhood of $5,000 and will be issued by Mr. Eaton at the bank for a short time before the remainder of the checks are mailed to the depositors. In addition to this stockholders' payment the depositors are expecting a seven per cent dividend from the general receiver, William L. O'Connell within a short time, the total of the two dividends to be approximately $10,000.

WOODBINE BANK RECEIVER STARTS MAKING PAYMENT Edward J. Barrett, State Auditor, announced that he has authorized payment of a 7% dividend, amounting to $5,335.10 to the depositors of the Woodbine State Bank, Woodbine, Ill. This is the second dividend to be paid since the bank closed, bringing the total up to 37%. The checks will be given out this week. In addition to this dividend, $1,448.15 has been paid to preferred creditors. This dividend is being paid out of funds acquired in the ordinary course of liquidation. Joseph Schneider and sons have rented the Daniel Harbach farm west of Waddams Grove. They also rented the farm land of Leo Kelly, who has been advised by his physician to take a rest on account of impaired health. Take a look at the label of your paper.
