FURTHER PAYMENTS FOR ARCHBALD, TAYLOR BANKS
Philadelphia, March 22 (U.P.).—State Secretary of Banking Luther A. Harr announced today that the closed Archbald Bank, Archbald, and the Taylor Discount and Deposit Bank, Taylor, Lackawanna county, will make further payments to depositors on April 15.
A payment of $84,250, representing 10 per cent of the deposit liability, will be distributed to the 2,800 depositors in the Archbald bank. The 4,300 depositors in the Taylor Discount and Deposit Bank will receive a dividend distribution amounting to $91,050.
