NOTICE OF CLERK'S SALE.

Pursuant to a Decree of Foreclosure and Sale, in the case of C. A. Jefferies, et al, as Receivers of American State Bank, against R. E. Johnson, et al, Judgment Roll No. 4665, I will offer for sale, at public auction, to the highest bidder, at Cherokee County Court House, during the usual hours for legal sales, beginning at 11 o'clock, A. M., Monday, April 1st, 1935,

All that certain lot of land in Limestone Township, Cherokee County, S. C., near the Western limits of Gaffney, S. C., containing 34 acres, more or less and more particularly described in deed from Thos. M. Caldwell, Clerk of Court to R. E. Johnson, dated April 28th, 1923, recorded in Vol. G, page 577, and described therein as follows: All that certain tract of land

NOTICE OF EXECUTION SALE

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COUNTY OF HENDERSON IN THE SUPERIOR COURT C. A. Jefferies, W. A. Turner, A. W. Love, J. N. Lipscomb, and A. T. Martin, as receivers of American State Bank, Gaffney, South Carolina—Plaintiffs V. Louise J. Connolly—Defendant. Under and by virtue of an execution in the above entitled cause to me directed by the Clerk of the Superior Court of Henderson County, the undersigned Sheriff of Henderson County, for the purpose of satisfying said execution, will on Monday, February 3, 1936, at eleven o'clock, A. M., at the court house door of Henderson County, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, expose to sale at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash all the interest of the above named defendant, Louise J. Connolly, in and to the following described lands, viz: Situate in the County of Henderson, and State of North Carolina, and known and designated as follows: 1. Lots 14 and 15 of Wheeler Park, as shown on plat recorded in Deed Book 67, at page 129, in the office of the Register of Deeds for Henderson County, said lots having a frontage on Locust Street of 100 feet, and a depth of 150 feet.

2. Lots 24 and 25 of Block 9 of Hyman Heights, as described in deed of record in Book 123, at page 501, of the Records of Deeds for Henderson County. In the City of Hendersonville, Beginning at a stake in the west margin of Patten Avenue, standing North 11 deg. 25 min. East 342 1-2 feet from the intersection of the Northeast margin of the Haywood Avenue with the West margin of Patten Avenue, said beginning point being the Northeast corner of lot No. 26, and running thence with the West margin of Patten Avenue, North 11 deg. 25 min. East 70 feet to a stake; Southeast corner of lot No. 23; thence with the line of lot No. 23, North 78 deg. 35 min. West 116 feet to a stake in the East margin of a ten-foot alley; thence with the East margin of said alley, South 6 deg. 54 min. East 70.2 feet to a stake, the Northwest corner of lot No. 26; thence with the line of lot No. 26, South 78 deg. 35 min. East 110 1-2 feet to the Beginning, excepting a strip ten feet wide along the South side of said lot, and extending from Patten Avenue to a ten-foot alley.

3. Lot 24 of the Druid Hills Subdivision, as per plat recorded Plat Book 1, page 81, bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake in the West margin of Hendersonville-Asheville Highway at Northwest intersection with Kimberly Avenue, and running along West margin of Hendersonville-Asheville Highway, North 18 deg. 12
