Commerce Secretary Also Notes Signs of Clearing in Foreign Situation as He Makes Annual Report

The payment will total approximately $18,000, total of the mortgage pool covered by these two series of certificates being $360,000. LONDON SECURITIES FALL

The 10 per cent. distribution made today of the closed Mechanics Trust Company souvenir Mrs. William Shartzer, 1638 Market street, of City highway clerk. As on two occasions Mrs. Shartzer received check for "One Cent Only," made out in the usual form and mailed for two cents.

Dismissed today as deputy receiver in charge of the liquidation of the Mechanics, Commercial and Security Trust Companies, three of Harrisburg's five closed banks, Frank M. Balsbaugh, 367 South Eighteenth street, is to be succeeded in the $5500 a year post by Leo A. Werner, of 2313 North Fifth street.
