WATER SUPPLY IS CAUSE OF SQUABBLE IN YANKTON Yankton, S. D., March 24.-Special: Yankton people are all at sea over their siuation. Some want aerated and filtered artesian water and some want Missouri river water chlorinated treated for purity. The advocates of artesian water have asked the city commission to submit two proposals the at the election asking bonds for each system. BANK PAYS CERTIFICATES HOLDERS BEFORE MATURITY Irene, D., March 24.-Special Holders of certificates of deposit in the reorganized Citizens' State bank of Irene, which would not have matured until December 15, of this year, already are being paid. The certificates were issued in lieu of deposits in the old bank. Similar certificates which matured De cember 15, 1927, were paid about three months before they were due. Hot Springs, S. D., March 24.-Special: The Pay and Take grocery, owned by Frank Hughes, of Rapid City, has been bought by H. L. McArthur, Cambria, who will conduct it. Mr. McArthur formerly was in charge of the commissary at the coal mines near Cambria. W E. Seidel, who has been managing the store for Mr. Hughes, will return to Rapid City. Groton Without Mayor.
