CLEARFIELD NOTES. Last of Defunct Bank Assets Disposed Of-Other Notes. Special to Times-Republican. Clearfield, Nov. 29.-O. C. Hill, receiver of the defunct Farmers' State Bank, has sold notes and judgments amounting to $ 32,466 for $304. This is the last of the assets, and will make about 91 cents paid on the dollar. The United Presbyterian church is holding revival meetings, conducted by Rev. Mr. Jackson, of Des Moinss. T. F. Wells, of Dakota, is renewing Clearfield acquaintances. He was formerly in business here. Roy Green, who moved to Idaho, did not like the country and has returned to Clearfield. D. D. Baird, the clothing man has sold his business to Claud Peltier, a farmer, who has taken possession. Tipton Richards, from Frontier county, Nebraska, and his brother. Calvin, are visiting their father, W. D. Richands, of this place. L. D. Wood, of Ellendale, N. D., has located in Clearfield after spending the summer in the northwest.
