Description

Articles (Feb 1898) report that the Hudson Savings Bank failed in 1893 and that Assignee Humphrey has paid the final assessment to creditors (~$41,000, ~57%). No run is mentioned; the bank previously failed and remained closed. I infer a suspension/closure with an assignee handling creditor distributions. Dates: failure year 1893; final payment reported in Feb 1898 (article dates).
