Chief Bank Examiner F. B. Richard son of the Banking Division of the State Corporation Commission and At torney John Randolph Tucker, counse for the State Corporation Commission itself have res'gned their positions and will go out of office. Chief Examiner Richardson has the unique distinc. tion of having closed three Negro Banking institutions in this State,the Mutual Savings Bank of Ports. mouth, Va, the Tidewater Bank and Trust Company at Norfolk and the Mechanics Savings Bank of Richmond. Mr. Richardson will enter upon duties as vice-president of the Central Natto al Bank on the northwest corner of Th. rd and Broad streets in this city and just two blocks from the Mechan ics Savings Bank building. Hon. John G. Luce, former manager of the campaign of Col. Henry W. Anderson, the "lily-white" Republican candidate for Governor of Virginia against Governor E. Lee Trinkle 19 I'W in charge of the Mechanics Sav ings Bank under the present receivers.
