Circuit Court for the City. [Judge C. E. Nicol presiding. ] J. A. Marshall VS. the Farmers' and Mechanics' Savings Bank; G. L. Boothe appointed receiver in place of L. Marbury, deceased, and case referred to W. E. Fendall, master commissioner, to settle account of L. Marbury, receiver, and to report balance and what disposition is to be made of any money under control of court in the case. C. G. Blake & Co. vs. Jackson Phillips Brick Co. judgment for plaintiff for $768.28. Ella Rose Smoot VS. Frances P. Smoot, trustee, et al argument heard as to amending decree entered at last term requiring defendant to render statement of her trusteeship. C. T. Evans et al. vs. German Cooperative Building Association No. 5 and the Alexandria Perpetual Building Association ; order overruling demurrurs and giving defendants sixty days to file their answers. This is the case of Osceola Tribe of Red Men who sue the building associations to recover the amount of stock owned by the tribe, but which, it is claimed, was illegally transferred by their late treasurer. In the case of Ellerson vs. Davis, from the county, a motion for the abatement of an attachment, the attachment W as dissolved.
