BANKS CLOSE THEIR DOORS. Houston, Tex., Aug. 7.-The First National Bank of Uvalde, Tex., has gone into voluntary liquidation. Deposits amounting to $36,999 will all be paid in ten days. Stockholders will receive from 110 to 120 for their stock. The bank has annually paid 10 per cent dividends. Lansing, Mich., Aug. 7.-The Ingham County Bank did not open for business this morning. A card was posted on the door which reads: "This bank is in the hands of a receiver."
