BANK RECEIVERS' AVERAGE PAY SET AT $302 A MONTH Figures Revealed by State Auditor. State Auditor Oscar Nelson issued a statement yesterday saying that the average salaries of bank receivers in 76 closed state banks in Cook county is $302 a month. Four banks pay the receivers only $50 a month each, and the peak salary, $833.33 a month, is paid to only one receiver. The statement was Issued as Mr. Nelson was asked by the directors of the Sherman State bank, 4801 South Ashland avenue, to take control of the institution, which closed its doors early in the afternoon.
