COURT PETITIONED TO VOID TRANSFER
Claiming that Elmer G. Levengood, Exeter township, transferred real estate to Maurice H. and Francis J. Shafer, of Pottstown, to delay collection of an indebtedness, the receiver of the First National bank of Birdsboro yesterday petitioned the court to declare the transaction void.
The receiver further asks that Minerva Levengood, to whom the property was later transferred, be restrained from disposing of the premises.
In a bill of equity the receiver claims Levengood is indebted to the bank on two notes, one for $296 and the other for $722. Stewart H. Lutz represents the receiver.
