The Meisner's bank and the Security State bank, both of Shelton, were merged last week, Rumors of a coming change were current and for two or three days mild run on the bank was made, nearly $100,000 being withdrawn. The run continued until the announcement of the consolidation was made. Both banks are stated to have been in good condition. The Mesiner's bank was the oldest financial institution in Shelton.
