Description

Articles include two threads: (1) Oct 9, 1901 reports a depositor asking the court to appoint a receiver for an Omaha savings bank that 'failed five years ago' (a historical receivership request), and (2) Dec 9, 1901 reports a contemporaneous run that was checked by prompt payment. The Dec. 9 run article states the bank paid depositors and checked the run, so the episode classified here is a run_only (no suspension or permanent closure reported). There is some ambiguity whether the failed bank mentioned in Oct articles is the same active institution referenced in December due to OCR ('Society Savings.bank' in the run article) and timing; I retained the provided bank name and noted uncertainty is low but documented this ambiguity.
