Newspaper items (May 5, 1933) state the McDaniel National Bank 'with C. E. French as receiver', indicating the bank was in receivership and thus effectively closed. The articles do not explicitly state a prior public suspension or run, but assignment of a receiver implies permanent closure. I therefore classify this as suspension_closure (closure with receiver).
