Heirs to Griffen Estate Ordered to Pay Assessment Ann Arbor, Mich., Mar. 8-Circuit Judge George W. Sample has signed an order requiring payment of $17,350.79 to W. S. Ritman, receiver of the First National Bank from the heirs and beneficiaries of the estate of Darwin C. Griffen. The payment was ordered after suit had been brought to collect a 100 per cent assessment on 135 shares of the bank stock owned by the estate. The administrator, Lee E. Banghart, is included in the order requiring payment on a percentage basis He is held responsible in the judgment for $2,096.36. The estate has $13,500 on hand.
