Model Plane Makers in Oklahoma City Contest

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 6.—(AP) The first inter-city model airplane flying contest in Oklahoma was held over the state fairgrounds here today.

The model Aeronautical Engineers of Tulsa, with their sponsor, William Collier, came here to vie with local enthusiasts for time honors in the air.

Charles Stewart of Tulsa was leading this morning in the first event for "outdoor" fuselage models. His plane was in the air one minute and 44 1/2 seconds.

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 6.—(AP) Mrs. Ruth Stockton, an employe of the Farmers State bank at Bethany before the bank was reorganized by W. J. Barnett, former state bank commissioner, today was appointed receiver of the bank's assets by District Judge George H. Giddings, jr. The receivership was asked by a depositors' committee.

BANK RECEIVER IS WITNESS IN BARNETT CASE

Testimony that dealings of W. J. Barnett, former bank commissioner, in the Farmers State Bank at Bethany were irregular was given Monday in the $14,790 embezzlement trial of Barnett.

After W. F. Faris, former employe of the bank department, had testified some of the records had been tampered with, Mrs. Ruth Stockton, receiver of the Bethany bank, asserted that Barnett's special accounts had been removed from the bank's records.
