BARDWELL KY., April 12 (Special)-Plans are being perfected for the re-opening of the First National Bank, which closed January 27. The capital has been subscribed and it is expected the bank will be re-opened in a short time.

Bank of Bardwell Receiver Sues to Collect on Notes

Jeff H. Hooker, receiver of the First National Bank of Bardwell, which closed January 28, 1932, has filed suit in United States district court to recover judgments against twelve persons on promissary notes alleged due in amounts varying from $20 to $245.
