BANK SUSPENSIONS Bank of Union was closed January 12, 1933 by its officers and directors and turned over to the Dept. of Trade and Commerce. Officers are W. B. Bannig, Vice-president and D. Ray Frans, Cashier. Capital stock $15,000 and deposits about $70,000. Farmers State Bank, Ogallala, was closed January 6, 1933 by its officers and directors and turned over to the Dept. of Trade and Commerce. Capital stock is $35,000 and deposits about Officers are: President, E. A. Smith, Vice-president C. R. Smith and Cashier, John M. Creamer. Greenwood State Bank on action of its officers and directors suspended business January 9 for reorganization. Capital stock is $25,000; surplus $5,000. Officers are P. L. Hall, President; E. A. Landon, Vice-president; E. O. Miller, Cashier. Examiner J. F. McLain is on charge for the dept. of trade and commerce. Farmers State Bank of Blair suspended operations December 31, 1932 pending reorganization. Peter M. Tyson is president, C. M. Hitchman vice president and R. C. Hitchman cashier. Bank's capital is $35,000 and its surplus $15,000. Examiner J. F. McLain is in charge for the state dept. of trade and commerce.

FILE BANK CLAIMS HEARING SET FOR JUNE AT OMAHA ON CREDITORS CLAIMS Depositors and other creditors the closed Farmers State Bank Blair are directed to file their claims against the bank before the 13th day of May, 1933, under penalty of having their claims not forever barred, by virtue of notice pearing in this issue of the Tribune.
