FARMERS' STATE BANK CLOSES DOORS

Lincoln, Sept. 28. (/P)-Governor Bryan today announced the closing of the Farmers State bank at Naper, village in Boyd county. Examiner Virgil S. Lee was placed in charge. The bank carried deposits of about $40,000; was capitalized for $15,000. and had $3,000 surplus. E. H. Hughes was president, and Lida M. Hughes, cashier.
