BANK CLOSES DECATUR, Ind., May 17.β€”(I.N.S.)β€”The old Adams county bank closed its doors here today. It was one of the oldest state banks in Northern Indiana. The state banking department was notified immediately of the action of the board of directors of the local institution. This bank was closed originally in June 1930, and reopened the next October. John Tyndall is president and Robert Meibers, cashier. OF HAMMOND IS ELECTED INDIANAPOLIS, May 17.β€”(U.P.)β€”John P. O'Donnell, Bloomington, was elected deputy of the council of Indiana Knights of Columbus, at the close of the 31st annual convention here.
