DURANT BANK PAYS $80,429 Ten Per Cent Disbursement, Fifth Since Receivership. Special to The Democrat Durant, Ia., Aug. 2.—The Farmers and Merchants bank is distributing checks for a 10 per cent dividend, totaling $80,429, R. D. Ryan, examiner in charge, announced today. The dividend is the fifth payment since the bank suspended and brings dividend payments to 40 per cent. Checks are available at the examiner's office in the Farmers and Merchants bank building.
