STATE BANK SUSPENSION INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 5.β(I. N.S.)βThe first state bank suspension in Indiana in more than two months was announced by State Banking Commissioner Luther F. Symons here today. The institution closed was the Bank of Fredericksburg, Ind., a private bank with deposits of about $70,000. Gradual loss of business was given by Symons as the cause for the bank's failure. Symons said he did not anticipate any loss to the bank's depositors as the net worth of the owners of the bank is said to be more than $200,000. J. H. Hancock is president.
