Asks $2,775, Attorney Fees; Overdue Note Causes Suit Action by Bank Receiver A judgment of $2,775, including an attorney fee of $225, was issued against Victor L. Krannert, formerly of the Twin Cities, in circuit court yesterday by Judge John H. Armstrong. The suit was filed yesterday by William L. O'Connell, receiver of the University State bank of Champaign. An overdue note was the cause of the action. Judge Armstrong set September 30 as the date for 12 common law trials yesterday. The law suit of the Chamberlin Metal Weather Strip company vs. R. C. English and the United States Fidelity and Guaranty company of Baltimore was settled out of court. Costs were paid and the complaint dismissed by the plaintiff. The $1,000 bond of Walter H. Savage, receiver in the foreclosure case of the Loan and Investment association of Champaign vs. William Townsend and others was approved by the court.
