George D. Banning, former receivfor the Leaf River State Bank, has been appointed receiver for the Citizen's State Bank of Durand by Oscar Nelson, auditor of public accounts of the state Illinois. Banning arrived in Durand on Friday morning. Holders of safety de: posit boxes will be able to get at them starting next Monday morning. Creditors the bank are asked to begin filing claims on Tuesday, September 6.

AUDITOR'S NOTICE OFFICE OF AUDITOR OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS The undersigned Auditor of Public Accounts hereby gives notice that he GEORGE BANNING appointed Receiver of THE CITIZENS STATE BANK OF DURAND, Durand, Winnebago County, Illinois, and that the said GEORGE D. BANNING has bond and is the qualified and actReceiver of said bank. All persons having claims against said bank are hereby notified and quested to present the same to said Receiver forthwith and to make legal proof thereof.
