Bank in Dawson Closes Its Doors Inability to Withstand Run Is Given as Reason son City bank, Dawson's only national banking institution, formed some months ago by mergor of the Dawson National bank and the City National bank, closed its doors Monday morning The following notice appeared on the door of the bank, "this 7th of November, 1932 Resolution, on account of run on this bank and its inability to withstand same, is hereby ordered that it be closed for the protection of all its depositors and that its affairs be placed in the hands of the of the currency Signed, B. Bank in Dawson Closes Its Doors Inability to Withstand Run Is Given as Reason DAWSON Ga., Nov. 7.-The Dawson City National bank, Dawson's only national banking institution, formed some months ago by merger of the Dawson National bank the City National bank, closed its doors Monday morning The following notice appeared on the door the bank, "this 7th of November, 1932 Resolution on account of run bank and its inability to withstand same is hereby ordered that it be closed for the protection of all its depositors and that its affairs be placed in the hands of the comptroller of the currency.
