# Flack Paid Her Pension. Tough New Year's luck has come to Mrs. Mary Dalhammer, a widow. She received a pension of $24 a month and did business through the Abilene State bank of which John A. Flack was cashier. Four years ago Mrs. Dalhammer's pension papers were lost or mislaid by Flack, who continued to pay the pension which later was increased to $30 a month. He kept this up to August 4, three weeks before he left. Now the bank's receiver has brought suit against the widow for $468. She has very little property, but it is expected that the government will repay the pension for the past four years and thus the bank will be reimbursed.
