Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a certain writ of execution issued out of and under the seal of the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for St. Lucie County, Florida, in that cause wherein Seminole Building Corporation, a corporation, is plaintiff, and W. M. Needham is defendant, I, J. R. Merritt, as Sheriff of St. Lucie County, have levied upon and will offer for sale and sell to the highest and best bidder for cash on the 15th day of September, 1924, during the legal hours of sale, at the west door of the court house in Fort Pierce, Florida, the store fixtures, stock of drugs, sundries, etc., contained in the store building of the Seminole Building at Vero, St. Lucie County, Florida, said store being known as the Seminole Pharmacy. WHEREAS, It appears from the sworn Bill of Complaint filed herein, that the complainant, M. E. Card, is entitled to an order requiring all of the above named defendants and all persons claiming interest in the said property above described, as the heirs, devisees or grantees or other claimants under the above named defendants or otherwise, and all persons claiming an interest in the above described property to appear to the said Bill of Complaint. NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered that you and each of you appear to the said Bill of Complaint filed in the above entitled cause on the 3rd day of November, A. D. 1924, the same being a Rule Day of this court, and in default thereof a decree pro confesso will be entered against you. Ramsey of unknown address, contestee: You are hereby notified that John G. McCorvey, who gives Vero, Florida, as his postoffice address, did on March 31, 1924, file in this office his duly corroborated application to contest and secure the cancellation of your Homestead Entry No. 016800, Serial No. 016800, made April 8, 1922, for Lot 1, Section 9, Township 33 South, Range 40 East, Tallahassee Meridian, and as grounds for his contest he alleges that said Robert R. Ramsey has never resided upon nor in any way improved said land, but has wholly abandoned the same; and that said Ramsey's absence from said land was not due, and is not due, to his employment in the military or naval service of the United States as a private soldier, officer, seaman, marine, national guardsman or member of any organization for offense or defense. You are, therefore, further notified that the said allegations will be taken as confessed, and your said entry will be canceled without further right to be heard, either before this office or on appeal, if you fail to file in this office within twenty days after the fourth publication of this notice, as shown below, your answer, under oath, specifically responding to these allegations of contest, together with due proof that you have served a copy of your answer on the said contestant either in person or by registered mail.
