Missing Cashier Is Found on Farm MOBERLY, Mo., Dec. 22.โ(A. P.)โC. E. Swartzendruber, alias Frank Howard, alias C. E. Simpson, missing cashier of the defunct Riverdale State bank of Riverdale, Kan., was arrested in Moberly shortly before noon today. He had been working for the past two months as a corn shucker on a farm near Prairie Hill. Swartzendruber admitted he was wanted in connection with the closing of the bank. He admitted also to local newspaper men that he took $800 at the time he left the bank, which had been closed for investigation and that later a shortage of $2,500 was found in the accounts. The fugitive was arrested when he tried to cash two American Express company travelers' checks. After leaving Riverdale, the latter part of September, Swartzendruber went to Kansas City. After staying in Kansas City a short time, he came to Prairie Hill and secured employment on a farm near that place.
