Chillicothe, Ohio, August 10—(Special)—The National Forest Purchase unit has approved the purchase of an eighty-acre tract of land on the Concord Church Road, three and one-half miles east of Chillicothe, for use as a forest nursery, where 15 million three-year-old seedlings will be grown annually and planted on barren lands to be acquired by the Forest Service, it was announced today by Byron L. Grosbeck, Supervisor of the Wayne National Forest Purchase Agency of the Government.

Dayton—(AP)—Dayton counted Willard Penn, 29, today as its 55th traffic fatality of the year. He died in a crash of his automobile into a pole.

Troy—(AP)—Mrs. Jessie Houseman of Fletcher sued Rev. Alvah Houseman of Piqua, for divorce today. She charged gross neglect, extreme cruelty and failure to provide. The couple was married October 4, 1911. They have two sons, one a minor. Mrs. Houseman's suit alleged that the minister assaulted and beat her August 6. She asked for alimony and custody of the minor child.

Troy—(AP)—Dairy farmers organized the Miami County Milk Producers Association today in an effort, Chairman Joe Levering of Piqua said to obtain higher prices. He said the Association would negotiate with county distributors.

Xenia—(Special)—Common Pleas Judge R. L. Gowdy today authorized the liquidating agent to pay a sixth dividend of 10 per cent, amounting to $25,612, to general claimants against the Commercial and Savings Bank, closed February 29, 1932. Approximately 2,000 patrons will benefit. It will bring to 90 per cent the amount paid off, dividends paid totaling $386,774.03. The State Banking Department expects the bank to pay out 100 per cent.

Xenia—(Special)—Xenia was drenched by a minor cloudburst that poured approximately three inches of water over the city in 80 minutes this afternoon, but caused no major damage. The official weather station north of Xenia measured 2.36 inches of rainfall in 80 minutes. Storm sewers were overtaxed and gutter water came over the sidewalks in downtown sections. Surface water collecting under the South Detroit Street railroad viaduct stopped vehicle traffic. Automobiles were stalled all over the city.

Xenia—(Special)—Raymond C. Ritenour received his commission today as Postmaster of Cedarville and will take charge of the office Monday. Ritenour, for the last two years Appraiser of the Home Owners Loan Corporation, is a member of the Democratic Central and Executive Committee and had committee indorsement for the post. He succeeds Mrs. Gertrude Stormont, Republican, who served eight years and has held over since expiration of her term December 18.
