Description

Articles state the Farmers First National Bank of Newcastle has been closed since last March (1933) and a receiver was appointed in December 1933. No article describes a depositor run; closure appears to have been a suspension that led to permanent closure and receivership. The March 1933 timing likely corresponds to the national banking holiday/closures, so cause is coded as government_action.
