CLAIM IS SET UP BY BANK RECEIVER A claim amounting to $1,254.29 against J. W. Thew and others was filed in common pleas court this morning by I. Fulton, state superintendent of banks in charge of liquidating the assets of the Commercial bank of Marion. The claim is contained in an answer and cross petition filed by the superintendent in the foreclosure action of C. D. Schaffner, receiver for the Citizens Building & Loan Co., against William J. Earl and others. Grant E. Mouser counsel for the bank superintendent in this action. The First National bank of Ada sets up a claim, in the same action, against Thew and others, in an answer and cross petition filed today. The bank maintains that $333.33 is due It from Thew and others on a promissory note.
