TRIAL Case Of Involuntary Manslaughter In Death of Melville Coryea Is Set Term. COURT TO OPEN MAY The trial of Judd for involuntary manslaughter will be set for the coming term of circuit court which convenes at Brownstown Monday, May Coulter M. Montgomery, prosecuting attorney, announced today. Judd was arrested in connection with the death of Melville S. Coryea, B. watehman, at the Walnut street railroad erossing in January. Judd, alleged to have been intoxicated, was driving truck when he ran into Coryea throwing him under the locomotive train. passenger Coryea was attempting to warn him of the approach of the train, it was said. Following the death of Coryea, Judd was arrested and released on $3,000 bond. Prosecutor Montgomery indicated that other charges might be filed against Judd in circourt. The May circuit court will be light, Prosecutor Montgomery said, and very few cases of public interest are scheduled for the session, he said. Although the primary elections fall on the day following the opening of circuit court Prosecutor Montgomery indicated that there would be at least half day session of court on Tuesday.
