Melrose Bank Head Held in $25,000 CHICAGO, Oct. 25 (I.N.S.). Charles J. Wolf, former mayor of Melrose Park, suburb, was held in $25,000 bond today on a warrant charging embezzlement of $80,000 following the closing of the Citizens State Bank of Melrose Park, of which Wolf was president. Two warrants were sworn out for Wolf, after State Auditor Oscar Nelson examined the bank's records. The bank was closed by bank examiners following a run which had been in progress for several months.
