Succeeds Local Man As Bank Receiver Frank Mahoney, Ottawa insurance agent. son of Mahoney. was being checked in today as receiver for the Utica State bank and the La Salle Savings & Trust bank, succeeding Weston Essington of Streator at Utica and James Catlin of Ottawa at La Salle. The announcement of Mahoney's appointment was made yesterday at Springfield, and is in tune with the democratic administration's policy of economy and spoils for the victor. Mahoney is democrat. Both his predecessors are republicans. Arrangements are being made in New Orleans to hundreds of out-of-state tourists in February, at which time the double attraction of the fardi Gras and the dedication of the Shushan
