Business Troubles Bankruptcy Petitions DREXLER SALES COMPANY. INC., of New York A petition has been filed against the Drexler Sales Company, Inc., of New York, automobile sajes agent at 1748 Broadway, and 56th st., by Edmund L Mooney, a creditor for $1,000 for rent. The company was incorporated on February 10. 1917. with capital stock $5,000, and it is alleged that it removed all its property from the place of bustness, in the Rockingham, on June 15. Judge Manton appointed Henry G. Gennert received under & bond of $1,000. Mr. Mooney attached a letter to the application for a receiver which he received from H. B. Leachman, of Chicago, president of the company, to the effect that the appointment of 8 receiver for the Drexler Motor Car Corporation. of Chicago, following the closing of the Auburn State Bank. of Chicago, its depositary, forced the Ne! York company to close up its New York office. SAMUEL J. ZIMBLER, dealer in clothing at 171 Stanton sh, has made an assignment to Samuel J. Cohen. A petition in bankruptcy was also filed against him by these creditors: B. Siegel, 2500; R. Donn, $300, and R. Schiechter. $100. Judge Manton appointed Isaac F. Cohen receiver, with bond of $1,500. Liabilities are stated to be $12,000 and assets $3,000. MORRIS SCHECHTER.-A petition has been filed against Morris Schechter. furniture dealer at 508 Second ave., by these creditors Mittman & Feinberg, $351: Dixie Furniture Company, $103. and Beatrice F. Temple, $1,000. Liabilities are $2,500 and assets $1,000. UNION SUITCASE COMPANY.-A petition has been filed against David Jacobson and Harry Rosenstrock, doing business as the Union Suitcase Company, at 300 Canal st., by these creditors: American Steel Frame and Iron Band Company.
