NORTH IDAHO BANK IS OPEN BOISE, IDAHO, March One North Idaho state bank was opened today and permission for five more state banks and three national banks to open Monday in the same territory has been granted by federal and state banking authorities. Opening of these will bring to total of eighty-one the number of banks open, leaving fifteen only closed of which five are national and ten state banks. Decision of the First National Bank of Lewiston to open immediately made it possible for six affiliated banks to open and one which was not affiliated. The AmeriBank and Trust Company of Lewiston. independent of the First National group, opened this morning under state permit, soon as the department of finance assured permits to open had been granted the national banks in that city.
