Description

Articles (Sept–Oct 1929) report the bank as defunct and that a receiver is acting for the Farmers Trust & Savings Bank of Oto, with the receiver filing suits. There is no newspaper text here describing a prior depositor run or an explicit suspension action, but the presence of a receiver and description as 'defunct' indicate the bank closed and entered receivership. Classified as suspension_closure because the bank closed and a receiver is handling its affairs; no evidence of a run or reopening.
