AVERY SUED FOR $5,000 DAMAGES AFTER ACCIDENT Special The Fairfield, Ia., Sept. 20.-Merle Avery of near Fairfield was named defendant in a suit for $5,000 as result of auto crash injuries received by Guy G. Baker, Fairfield, in an accident March 25, this year. The petition alleged negligence and reckless driving. Baker alleges he received permanent injuries, fractured knee cap and lacerations. The Iowa State bank filed to collect $7,280 from W. G. and Lulu W. Spees. The Farmers State bank receiver filed for $1,475 from Guy, Mildred L. and Rachel Jones.
