Description

Articles (1915-1917) show the bank is defunct with L. G. Council acting as receiver, selling bank property and paying dividends to depositors. There is no mention of a depositor run; the bank was placed in receivership and remains closed while receivership distributions are made. Suspension/closure likely occurred before the Oct 1915 notices; I use 1915-10-13 (first notice) as the documented receivership/suspension date in the absence of an earlier explicit date.
