BURDEN IS NAMED BANK RECEIVER George Burden, resident of Orlando for the past 28 years and one of the men of the city, yesterday was appointed receiver for Church Street Bank by Comptroller Ernest Amos, acinformation received here from Tallahassee. The new appointee served as deputy county tax collector from 1912 to 1917 when he entered the United States navy and served during the World War. At the close the war he returned to Orlando and became city tax assessor in 1919 under the Giles administration. BANK RECEIVER FILES FORECLOSURE ACTION Foreclosure proceedings were instituted against Lee in chancery yesterday by George W. Burden, receiver the Church Street Bank, which closed its doors late W.
