RUN STARTED ON RACINE BANK. Savings Depositors of Commercial and Savings Scared by Rumors. Racine, Wis., Dec. 9.-Because of stories regarding the financial standing of the Commercial and Savings bank a run was precipitated yesterday. The bank has over $600,000 in the savings department, and the depositors swarmed into the bank. The institution met all payments and the directors say they can weather the storm. No merchants or manufacturers have withdrawn. Deposits yesterday exceeded withdrawals.
