Mr. White has, on behalf of some of the creditors of the Prescott State Savings Bank, made application to Judge Bundy for the appointment of N.P. Haugen as receiver. The motion was heard at Hudson on Tuesday last and taken under advisement by the court.

Receiver for a Wisconsin Bank. ELLSWORTH, Wis., Oct. 31.-Judge Bundy of the circuit court has appointed Colonel D.J. Dill of Prescott, Wis., as receiver of the Prescott State Savings bank at that place. This is another one of the defunct banks of A. C. Probert of Washburn, Wis. It is expected that its assets are about $3,000 (some of them being Probert's individual notes), and liabilities about $25,000 or $30,000.
