STATE BANK CLOSES AS RESERVE FUNDS DEPLETE Apleton, Wis., Nov. 3.-The Appleton state bank closed voluntarily today because of depleted reserves. Business will be suspended only temporarily, officials said. The state bank examiner was notified and sent a representative there. There are other banks in the city. The banks have been subjected to a heavy drain during the agricultural depression.
