SUSPENSION.-Much to the astonishment of our citizens, the Bank of Rutland suspended yesterday. P. S.-We understand that the suspension was owing to the lock's getting out of order so that the bank vault could not be opened. The manufacturer of the lock was telegraphed for by the bank, to unlock or "bust" it (the lock, not the bank). The lock is indisputably a safe lock; (no pun intended). The bank will doubtless resume payment to-day.
