Description

Articles (May–June 1932) report C. H. Tucker as receiver of the Merchants & Planters Bank of Dillwyn declaring dividends and offering assets for sale. No article mentions a run; the bank is in receivership and effectively closed. I infer a prior suspension leading to closure (receivership) though an explicit suspension sentence is not present in these clips.
