District Court Notes. J. H. Clark and Z. Graham, convicted of grand larceny, and Albert Clark, convicted of receiving stolen property, will be sentenced in the district court today. Judge Charles W. Morse is holding court at Price. Today he will have a number of arraignments and will pass sentence on several prisoners who have been convicted. Judge William C. Hall yesterday granted Olive Daniels a divorce from Dillwin Daniels on the grounds of desertion. The couple were married in this city on August 23, 1899. An order was entered yesterday by Judge William C. Hall directing W. T. Jones to pay his wife $10 per month until certain debts are paid, when he is to pay his wife $20 per month until further order of the court. Emma Wallace was yesterday granted a divorce from Thomas Wallace, an ex-soldier. on the grounds of desertion. The testimony brought out the fact that the couple, who married in this city about two years ago, only lived together about six weeks. The Zion Savings Bank and Trust company yesterday brought suit in the district court against H. B. Clawson to foreclose on 700 shares of BullionBeck and Champion Mining company stock, given as security on December 31, 1897, for a loan of $2,400. The receiver in the matter of Edward McLaughlin. executor, vs. the Park City bank. filed his final report yesterday with Judge Hall, who took it under advisement. It provides for the distribution of the property. The receiver was awarded $500. The attorneys were given an equal sum. The will of William J. Lloyd, who died May 29, leaving an estate of $40,000. was yesterday filed for probate. John H. Lloyd was named as executor in the will. Attorney W. R. Hutchinson. in behalf of several heirs, asked that Lloyd be placed under good and sufficient bond. The motion was overruled. Judge William C. Hall yesterday set aside the judgment in the case of the Madsen Gold Mining and Milling company vs. H. H. Peterson et al. on motion of the defendants. The judgment was rendered on June 5, in which it was denied that C. J. Peterson is the owner of 67,575 shares of stock of the development company. If William H. Green can raise $50, he will be released from the county jail. If he can not, he must remain there until July 14. He was sent to jail by Judge William C. Hall for disobeying an order of the court, which stipulated that he must pay his wife, Emma Green, half of his daily earnings to enable her to support herself and their little children.
