Description

Articles consistently refer to John Best as receiver for the State National Bank of Santa Anna, indicating the bank was in receivership/closed and receiver-initiated suits against stockholders in Oct 1932 and continuing into Apr 1933. No articles mention a depositor run or reopening; thus this is a suspension followed by closure/receivership (government action).
