KENYON STILL GONE. CAUSED A RUN ON THE EASTLAND BANK. The Institution IN Found to Be in Good Shape-A New Cashier Elected. Eastland, Texas, August 23,-(Speclal.)-B. B. Kenyon, cashier of the Eastland national bank, disappeared some six weeks ngo, and up to the present writing nothing has been heard from him. When last heard of he was leaving Dallas on the west-bound Texas and Pacific passenger train. As soon as it became known that the bank's officers did not know his whereabouts, quite a run was made on the bank. The bank. upon investigation. was found to be all right, and has paid all checks promptly. The missing cashier's account with the bank was about $1200, but as he has a great deal of property no loss will be sustained on this account. J. W. Tidwell, president, called a meeting of the directors and elected M. Hill cashier, to fill the vacancy made by Kenyon's disappearance. C. U. Connellee was made director In Mr. Kenyon's stead. The bank has been examined and was found to be in splendid condition.
